This guide explains how to authorize Microsoft 365 (M365) logins for access to our Support Portal.  This streamlines access for M365 users by enabling single sign-on (SSO) capabilities.

Using M365 credentials to log into the Support Portal requires that it be authorized on behalf of the user and/or organization.

If your M365 environment has restricted the user's ability to access 3rd-party applications, you will need to authorize consent on their behalf.  Follow the steps below to allow users to request admin consent.

Step 1: Sign in to Microsoft Azure

  1. Go to the Microsoft Azure Portal.
  2. Log in using your Global Administrator Microsoft 365 credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Required Settings

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Microsoft Entra ID.
  2. Navigate to Enterprise applications > Security > Consent and permissions.

Step 3: Configure Permissions

  1. Enable Users can request admin consent to apps they are unable to consent to.
  2. Configure allowed Users, Groups, or Roles and Notifications as desired.

Step 4: Set up Integration

  1. Work with the requester to log in.
  2. Approve the request for consent.

Your users should now be able to log into our Support Portal using their M365 users.
