Introduction
The Crexendo VIP Group Messaging provides the platform for your business to send and receive SMS/MMS to/from your clients using several tools including auto responses, drip campaigns, text blasts, reminders, and more.
This guide provides the steps to access the VIP Meetings platform from your web browser and the VIP Mobile App, a tour of the platform, and how to get started using VIP Group Messaging.
How to Access VIP Group Messaging
VIP Portal

- Login to your Crexendo VIP Portal at https://portal.crexendovip.com.
- If VIP Group Messaging has been enabled for your user, it will appear next to the “Apps” section on the upper right side of your portal.
- Select “VIPGroupMessage” to launch VIP Group Messaging in a new tab. The platform uses your portal login information to log you in.
VIP Mobile App
- Open your Crexendo VIP Mobile Application.
- Select “VIPMenu” from the navigation bar.
- Select “VIP Group Message.”

Desktop Application
NOTE: your view may differ depending on if you have purchased the Standard or Enterprise level of VIP Group Messaging.

- Conversations: this section of the application is where you will primarily communicate with your clients.
- Contacts: allows you to manage you contacts and details like opt-out and consent message status, import in bulk, and more.
- Canned Responses: pre-written messages that you can use as replies to common inquiries, as away messages, and as automatic replies to keywords.
- Drip Campaigns: allows you to supply a scheduled set of messages to a contact based on intervals of your choosing. Any replies received from the contact will break any future drips that have not yet been sent.
- Blasts: a strategy used to send the same message out to a list of contacts. This is often used for marketing, staff alerts, and organization notification systems.
- Reminders: create reminders to send scheduled messages to individual contacts.
- My Profile: allows you to edit your account details, change your password, messaging settings, and block senders.
- Integrations: provides a list of available integrations to work with your VIP Group Messaging platform.
- Logout: logs you out of the platform.
Mobile Application

- Conversations: shows any new or current conversations.
- Contacts: displays any stored contacts in your VIP Group Messaging contacts list. The option to add a new contact or import contacts can be added from this option.

- Account: allows you to manage your canned responses and templates, your signature for outbound messages, displays your profile information, and to logout of the VIP Group Messaging application.

How to Start a New Conversation
Desktop Application
- Select the “Conversations” button on the left navigation pane.
- Select “New Conversation” from the top right of the screen.

- Choose to send to a phone number of select a contact from your address book.

- Compose your message in the space provided. The options to the left allow you to add an attachment, apply a canned response, apply a drip campaign, configure a signature, or add an emoji.

- Once you are satisfied with your message, select the
icon or (Shift + Enter) to send your message.
- You can access the conversation in the future by searching or scrolling through your conversations in the “Conversations” section.

Mobile Application
- Within the VIP Group Messaging mobile application, select the “Conversations” option at the bottom of the screen.

- Select the
icon to start a new conversation.
- Enter the contact(s) or the phone number(s) in the blank. If you would like to name the conversation, you can do so from this screen. Once a valid phone number or contact has been selected, select “Start Conversation.”

- Compose your message in the space provided. The options below allow you to add a picture, access your camera, apply a canned response, add a note, or add/configure a signature.

- Select
to send your message. You can access the conversation in the future by searching or scrolling through your conversations in the “Conversations” section.
