This quick reference guide explains how to perform common calling functions on the Grandstream GRP2613 desk phone. It is intended for Crexendo phone users who need a fast reference for placing, answering, transferring, and managing calls.

Basic Call Handling

Making a Call

  1. Enter the phone number or extension using the keypad.
  2. Lift the handset, press the Speaker key, or press the Send key to place the call.

Answering a Call

When the phone rings, use one of the following methods:

  • Lift the handset.
  • Press the Speaker key.
  • Press the Send key.

Ending a Call

Hang up the handset, press the Speaker key, or press the End soft key.

Putting a Call on Hold

  1. During a call, press the Hold key or Hold soft key.
  2. Press Resume or the flashing line key to return to the call.

Mute

Press the Mute key during a call to silence your microphone. Press Mute again to unmute.

Headset

Press the Headset key to switch between the handset and a connected headset.


Transferring Calls

Blind Transfer

A blind transfer sends the caller directly to another extension or phone number without speaking to the recipient first.

  1. While on a call, press the Transfer key or Transfer soft key.
  2. Enter the destination extension or phone number.
  3. Press Blind or press Transfer again to complete the transfer without waiting for an answer.

Attended Transfer

An attended transfer allows you to speak with the transfer recipient before connecting the original caller.

  1. While on a call, press the Transfer key or Transfer soft key.
  2. Enter the destination extension or phone number.
  3. Wait for the person to answer.
  4. Announce the call.
  5. Press Transfer again to complete the transfer.

Conference Calls

3-Way Conference

  1. While on the first call, press Conf or Conference.
  2. Dial the second participant and connect the call.
  3. Press Conf again to join all parties.

Voicemail and Call History

Voicemail

Press the Message key or dial your voicemail access number, then follow the voice prompts.

Call History

Open Call History to view missed, received, and dialed calls.

To place a call from Call History:

  1. Highlight the desired number.
  2. Lift the handset or press Speaker or Send to place the call.

Call Park and Do Not Disturb

Call Park

During an active call, use your system's park option or the designated Park soft key, if available.

If call parks are assigned to a line key, press the assigned line key to park and unpark the call.

Do Not Disturb

Use the feature code or phone menu options configured by your system administrator to enable or disable Do Not Disturb (DND).


Volume Controls

Use the Volume key to adjust audio levels. The type of volume adjusted depends on the phone's current state.

Phone is idle Ringer volume
Handset call Handset volume
Speaker call Speaker volume
Headset call Headset volume
