This section shows the override that Crexendo supports on the VIP platform for setting up VLANS. This override will need to be added to the device on the system needing the tags.

Multicast Paging
Configure Polycom Paging Groups
The following overrides configure two Polycom paging groups:
- Paging Group 1 – All Page
- Paging Group 2 – <Insert Page Group Name>
Devices configured with these overrides can initiate multicast pages to either paging group.

TIP:
- ptt.pageMode.enable=“1” – Enables the Polycom paging feature.

ptt.pageMode.group.X.label – Assigns a display name to the specified paging group. Replace
<Insert Page Group Name>with the desired paging group name (for example, Warehouse, Front Office, or Shipping). - Paging group labels only change the name displayed on the phone. They do not affect paging functionality.
Subscribe a Device to a Paging Group (Receive)
Devices must subscribe to one or more paging groups to receive multicast pages sent to those groups.
The following override subscribes a device to Paging Group 2.

To subscribe a device to both Paging Group 1 (All Page) and Paging Group 2:

TIP:
- ptt.pageMode.group.X.subscribed=“1” – Subscribes the device to the specified paging group.
- Replace X with the desired paging group number.
- Subscription settings are applied per device. Each Polycom phone must subscribe to the paging groups it should receive.
NOTE: Subscribing a device to a paging group only affects receiving pages. Devices can still send pages without subscribing to the group.
Multicast Address and Port
By default, Polycom phones use the following multicast settings for paging:

Multicast IP Address:
224.0.1.116 -
Multicast Port:
5001
These default values can be changed using the following overrides:
ptt.address="224.0.1.117"ptt.port="5003"
TIP:
- ptt.address – Specifies the multicast IP address used for paging.
- ptt.port – Specifies the multicast port used for paging.
NOTE:
- These overrides change the multicast IP address and port used for Polycom paging on the device.
- If the multicast IP address or port is changed, all devices participating in the paging environment must be configured to use the same values.
Yealink Interoperability
Polycom phones can receive multicast pages from and send multicast pages to Yealink phones when both devices are configured to use the same multicast IP address and port.
Receive Pages from a Yealink
To receive multicast pages sent from a Yealink phone, subscribe the Polycom phone to the desired paging group.

EXAMPLE: This example subscribes the Polycom phone to Paging Group 1 (All Page).

TIP:
- ptt.pageMode.group.X – Specifies the Polycom paging group that will receive multicast pages.
- subscribed=“1” – Enables the device to receive multicast pages for the specified paging group.
- Replace X with the desired paging group number.
NOTE:
- The Yealink phone must be configured to broadcast to the same multicast IP address and port used by the Polycom phone.
- By default, Polycom uses multicast IP address 224.0.1.116 and port 5001.
- If the multicast IP address or port has been customized using
ptt.addressorptt.port, the Yealink must be configured to use the same values. - Both devices must be on the same network, or multicast routing must be configured between networks.

Send Pages to a Yealink
To send multicast pages that can be received by a Yealink phone, enable the Polycom paging feature and configure the desired paging groups.

- ptt.pageMode.enable=“1” – Enables the Polycom paging feature.

NOTE:
- The receiving Yealink phone must be configured to listen on the same multicast IP address and port used by the Polycom phone.
- By default, Polycom uses multicast IP address 224.0.1.116 and port 5001.
- If
ptt.addressorptt.porthas been customized, the Yealink must be configured to use the same multicast IP address and port. - Both devices must be on the same network, or multicast routing must be configured between networks.
- Yealink phones communicate with Polycom phones using multicast IP addresses and ports. Ensure both devices are configured with matching multicast settings.

Single Paging Group Polycom-only Accounts (Domain Level)
Receive-only Override
Use the following override to disable the Paging softkey, preventing users from initiating pages while still allowing the phone to receive multicast pages.

Send — One-touch Override (Device Level)
For environments that use a single paging group, the following override replaces the standard Paging softkey with a dedicated All-Page softkey, allowing users to initiate a page with a single button press.

TIP:
- softkey.3.label – Specifies the name displayed on the softkey.
- softkey.3.action – Assigns the softkey to initiate an All-Page multicast page.
- softkey.3.enable – Enables the softkey.
- softkey.3.use.idle – Displays the softkey when the phone is idle.
- softkey.3.insert – Specifies the softkey position.
- softkey.3.precede – Determines the softkey’s placement relative to other softkeys.
- efk.softkey.alignleft – Left-aligns the Enhanced Feature Key (EFK) softkeys.
NOTE:
- By default, Crexendo provisions
ptt.pageMode.enable="1"through the NDP Polycom Defaults, enabling the Paging feature on all Polycom phones. - Apply the Receive-only Override at the Domain Level only if you want to prevent all Polycom phones on the account from initiating pages.
- In mixed phone manufacturer environments, apply the Receive-only Override at the Device Level for devices that should receive pages but not initiate them.
- The Send — One-touch Override is intended for Polycom-only environments that use a single paging group. It replaces the standard Paging softkey with a dedicated All-Page softkey, eliminating the extra menu step required to initiate a page.
