HIPPA compliance with VIP fax
Procedure
Our Fax product is encrypted, so it's as secure as being encrypted. That said, for fax-to-email or email-to-fax to be encrypted, the end user's mail service needs to support TLS encryption. If they send a fax from their portal (Web to Fax), it is secure.
- Email to Fax, TLS Encrypted
- Fax to Email, TLS Encrypted
NOTE: Email to Fax and Fax to Email both require the end-user's mail service to support TLS encryption
- PC to Fax, TLS Encrypted (Print Driver Client)
NOTE: PC to Fax requires the TLS version of PC to Fax
- Web to Fax, TLS Encrypted
- Fax to Fax, TLS Encrypted
For end-users without TLS-enabled mail services, Pangea also offers SSL fax that enables end-users to securely download any fax they receive via the portal.
