Objective
This article will walk you through the creation of a Domain for new customers

How to create a domain
Eligibility
Limited to Management users, and will require permission from SD3 or above to allow access
Procedure
IMPORTANT: Have all of the following ready when building Domains:
- Customer Name
- Domain Name
- Customer's Primary Area Code
- Caller ID Name
- Caller ID Number
- Number of Users
- Customer's Address
- Customer's Time Zone
- Open the Crexendo VIP Portal
- Click on Domains
- Click the Add Domain button
- Fill out the following tabs
Basic Tab

Name This will be the customer's domain name and cannot be changed. Description VIP Small, VIP Mid, VIP Large Reseller This will usually be Crexendo_Direct_Customers, but if you know who the Partner is, you can assign it to their Reseller portalEmail Sender Leave this no-reply@crexendovip.com Residential Always make sure No is selected Status Always Active for new accounts Single Sign-On Keep this disabled. We currently do not have SSO Support Defaults Tab

Dial Permissions Use the US and Canada Timezone Match this to the customer's time zone Area Code Match this to the Customer's Primary Telephone Number Caller Name This will be the customer's outbound CID sent to 911 and Outbound Caller ID Match this to the Customer's Primary Telephone Number Enable Voicemail Leave this checked, as it will turn it off for the entire account Voicemail Transcription Enable this only if they have it listed on the Sales order, or the Migration template Language Default is English. Voice Default. No need to change Preferred Server Location Use this field to point the devices to the closet server for the customer Limits Tab

The only parameter needed to be changed on this page is the Max Users
NOTE: Match this to the Work Order or Migration Template

No changes on this page. SD3 or VIP Eng will adjust this as needed.
