Snom PA1 Setup
This section covers manual setup of a Snom PA1 device for use on the Crexendo VIP platform. Note that manually registered devices are only connected to the server they are assigned to and are not part of the 100% uptime guarantee.
Provision Steps
• Create the Extension and User in the Crexendo VIP Manager Portal. Disable the voicemail box by unchecking Enable Voicemail.
• Set up the user for Internal Calling Only.
• Get the device credentials by going to Users > Phones and clicking the pencil icon.

Snom PA1 as Multicast Listener
Use the following override to configure the PA1 to receive multicast pages:
Snom PA1 as Multicast Relay
The Snom PA1 can be configured to take Unicast RTP and relay it to Multicast. You can set up the Snom PA1 as an extension, call that extension, and the PA1 will broadcast the audio to its own output and to a configured multicast address.
Snom PA1+ Setup
The Snom PA1+ registers automatically via Snom Redirect (SRAPS), which means only minor tweaks are needed via overrides. Follow the steps below to register the device before applying any overrides.
Adding the PA1+ via SRAPS
SRAPS can be accessed at sraps.snom.com/phones. Log in and follow these steps:
• From the home screen, press Phones, then click Add.
• Enter the MAC address of the device and select CREXENDO VIP as the company.
• Select the configuration profile based on the device type (see table below).
• Factory reset the device. It will register and configure itself automatically on Crexendo VIP.
