User Context

  • How to Create Custom Wallpapers for Yealink Phones

Procedure

NOTE: This step will require Level 2 assistance to create this Override.

  1. Gather the file from the customer or Support Group
  2. Upload the file to the Endpoints server

    TIP: Alternatively, you can also access this link to upload the file.

  3. In the Endpoints server, navigate to System, then Files & Firmware

  4. Select Upload File

  5. Upload the file. Filename must be unique. Make sure that the file format is included in the file name. Supported formats are .jpg or .png

    TIP: The recommended format is DomainNamePhoneModel.jpg or .png

    EXAMPLE: Sample Filenames could be HouseVIPT46S.jpg or HouseVIPT33G.png

    EXAMPLE:

    phone_setting.backgrounds="Config:HouseVIPT46S.jpg"
    wallpaper_upload.url="https://endpoints1-phx.vipvoice.io/frm/HouseVIPT46S.jpg"

    phone_setting.backgrounds="Config:HouseVIPT33G.png"
    wallpaper_upload.url="https://endpoints2-iad.vipvoice.io/frm/HouseVIPT33G.png"

    Replace the Endpoints server URL depending on which Endpoint the wallpaper file is uploaded to. Replace the domain name with the actual Filename used.

  6. Copy this into the phone overrides, and it will allow the wallpaper to come through
  7. Wait for a few seconds for the device to resync.
    • If it did not automatically resync, reboot the device.
    • If reboot still did not get the override config, factory reset the device.
