Symptoms

  • How can I check my phone's firmware

Procedure

IMPORTANT: Devices should be on the listed version or newer unless directed otherwise by Crexendo Support.

To check the firmware version on your Yealink phone, follow these steps:

  1. On the Yealink phone, press the OK button (or go to the Menu).
  2. Navigate to Status (the wording may vary by model).
  3. Locate Firmware Version and compare it to the minimum firmware version listed for your specific model. Refer to Desk Phone - List of GA Firmware.

Pass criteria: If your phone’s firmware is equal to or higher than the minimum listed for your model, you meet the requirement.

NOTE: If you find that your firmware is lower than the minimum, do not manually flash the firmware unless instructed, especially if your device is provisioned by Crexendo. In that case, contact support and provide your phone model, current firmware version, and MAC address if available.

To learn more about the required Firmware version for different deskphones, refer to Desk Phone - List of GA Firmware.
