Latest update Office Managers can manage each other's settings again, Group SMS history is complete in the Web Phone, and Android voicemail alerts reach the right device.

  • Office Managers can manage each other again. Office Managers can once again update the Profile and Security settings of other Office Managers on the account. This was blocked by a change in v45.0.1.

Web Phone and mobile app

  • Complete Group SMS history. Group text conversations in the Web Phone no longer have missing messages, including after someone is removed from the conversation.
  • Voicemail alerts on Android. Voicemail notifications now go to the correct Android device.

Security

  • Behind-the-scenes security improvements. No action is needed on your part.

v45.1.1 · October 7, 2026

Phones

  • Voicemail light behaves correctly. The message waiting light on desk phones no longer flips on and off after a very short or hung-up voicemail.

Microsoft Teams

  • Portal works inside Teams. The VIP Portal no longer appears blank when opened inside the Microsoft Teams desktop or mobile app.

  • Security updates. Updated security libraries and tighter API permissions. No action is needed.

  • Mitel labels. Changing a directory setting no longer breaks custom button labels.
  • Busy lamp buttons. Coworker buttons no longer go missing when two employees share a first name.
  • Polycom directory. Custom directory entries show only where they should, not on the main screen.
  • Hot desking labels. Line key labels (name and extension) now update to the person who's signed in when hot desking.

Calls and call quality

  • Smoother answers and transfers. Fixed brief audio or connection problems right after a call is answered, during a transfer, or when picking up a call from hold.
  • Clearer conference audio. Fixed audio issues when remote participants are added to a conference call.
  • Clearer menu prompts. Fixed audio problems in automated voice prompts, like auto attendants.
  • Caller ID kept on parked calls. Caller ID no longer disappears when a parked call is picked up at another location.
  • Fewer failed calls. Fixed some outbound calls failing on backup routes, and improved secure (encrypted) call setup.
  • Consistent routing. Calls that can't be completed now follow the same rules whether they come from outside or from another account.
  • Caller ID privacy. Caller identity details are only shared with trusted systems.
  • Holiday schedules. Canada and Mexico holidays no longer show a wrong "no upcoming dates" message.

Call center and queues

  • New: Agent status timers. Supervisors can turn on a timer that shows how long each agent has been online or offline.
  • New: Hold music between queues. You can choose whether hold music restarts or keeps playing when a call moves to another queue.
  • More accurate reports. "Calls Offered" now counts only calls that reach a queue, and the transfer percentage now counts every kind of transfer.
  • Callbacks in the right order. Queued callback requests are handled in the correct order.
  • More stable queues. Improved stability during busy periods and when a caller hangs up just as the call is answered.
  • Queue settings save correctly. Forwarding settings no longer change by mistake when saving a queue in a non-English Portal.

Call recording

  • Recordings start reliably. Fixed recordings that wouldn't start mid-call, and calls that failed with a "No Dial Rule" error with certain Caller ID settings.
  • Automatic cleanup. When a user is deleted, their recording settings are removed too.

Portal and accounts

  • Numbers freed up automatically. Phone and text numbers are released when the user they belong to is deleted.
  • Call History accuracy. The "To" field shows the right information for calls between accounts.
  • Easier-to-read errors. Error messages stay next to their fields when you scroll or zoom.
  • Fewer unexpected logouts. Using the Web Phone and the Portal at the same time no longer logs you out.
  • Polycom sidecars. Fixed editing Polycom expansion modules in some setups.

Web Phone

  • Caller ID during transfers. Caller ID shows correctly during an assisted transfer.

Security

  • Stronger sign-in and API security. Several improvements to account and sign-in security. No action is needed.

v45.0.2 and v45.0.3 · August 20 to September 16, 2026

Ring-All queue recordings, faster Web Phone chats, sign-in fixes, and stability improvements.

Call recording

  • Queue calls are recorded. Calls answered from a Ring-All call queue are now recorded when the agent has recording turned on.

Web Phone

  • Faster chats. The Web Phone loads chat conversations faster for people with lots of contacts, and respects the setting that hides profile pictures.

Sign-in and accounts

  • Marketplace sign-in. Signing in now takes you back to the Crexendo Marketplace correctly.
  • Single sign-on accounts. Accounts that use single sign-on can no longer save the same email as both primary and secondary, which could cause sign-in problems.

Reliability

  • More stable calling. Fixed some outbound calls failing on certain connections, and improved stability when text-to-speech is slow.

v45.0.1 · July 29, 2026

Fixes for analytics, report playback, and Web Phone caller info, plus tighter user permissions.

Call center

  • Analytics loads for supervisors. The analytics page loads correctly for Call Center Supervisors.
  • Play recordings from sorted reports. The listen button keeps working after you sort Queue, Agent, or Dialed Number reports.

Web Phone

  • Correct caller info. Rejecting a second incoming call no longer replaces the details of the call you're on.

Portal and accounts

  • Tighter permissions. Site Managers can no longer view or change details for higher-level users.
  • Known issue (fixed in v45.1.2). This change also stopped Office Managers from editing other Office Managers. It was fixed in v45.1.2.

v45.0 · July 1, 2026

The major v45 release: a new sign-in experience with optional required SSO and two-step verification, text message opt-out handling, more reliable notifications, and many call center and Web Phone improvements.

Sign-in and security

  • New: New sign-in page. The Portal and Web Phone now share one sign-in page that sends you to the right place.
  • New: Require SSO or two-step verification. Admins can require single sign-on and two-step verification for the whole account, a site, or individual users.
  • New: Protection against repeated failed sign-ins. After several failed attempts, you'll be asked to complete a "not a robot" check. Too many failures can temporarily block sign-ins from that internet connection for about 20 minutes, which can affect a whole office on shared internet.

Text messaging

  • New: Opt-out keywords handled automatically. When someone texts STOP (or END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE), they're opted out and get a confirmation. START or YES opts them back in, and HELP sends instructions.
  • New: Opt-out alerts. You'll be notified if you try to text a number that has opted out.
  • Text fixes. Texts with a picture and words are received correctly, conversations no longer split into duplicate threads, and replying by text from Call History shows the right sending number.

Notifications

  • More reliable push notifications. Calls, texts, chats, and voicemail notifications arrive more reliably on the mobile app and Web Phone, including when the Web Phone app is closed.

Web Phone

  • New: One Web Phone at a time. If you open the Web Phone a second time, you'll be asked whether the new window should take over.
  • New: Video meeting invites. When you start a video meeting from a contact, they can choose Join or Decline, and you'll see if they decline.
  • New: Text message queues. The Web Phone supports text message queues.
  • Fewer windows. Click-to-call reuses the open Web Phone instead of opening new windows.
  • Other fixes. The missed calls count clears after you view it, Call Park options work after a callback, and caller details stay private on parked private calls.

Call center and queues

  • Correct queue priority. Agents in more than one queue receive calls in the right priority order.
  • Agents' rules respected. Queues follow agents' answering rules when a time frame is switched on, and ring groups honor an agent's forward-when-busy setting.
  • Consistent escape key. Pressing the queue's escape key gives callers the same options whether they're on hold or being connected.
  • More accurate statistics. Queue totals, emailed reports, and transfer statistics now match the Portal, and calls where the caller hangs up during the voicemail greeting are counted as missed.
  • Presence after transfers. Your status changes back to available after you transfer a call.

Portal and call routing

  • Clearer time frames. Time frames are grouped by owner, new time frames no longer show as expired, and user-level time frames can share a name with account-level ones.
  • New: Deleting a site. When you delete a site, you can choose what happens to its users and queues.
  • Auto attendants. New auto attendants no longer conflict with each other's prompts.
  • Sent faxes. Faxes sent from the Portal appear in Sent items.
  • Transcriptions. Call transcription and sentiment show on every eligible call.
  • New: Crexendo Marketplace. The Portal connects to the Crexendo Marketplace (where apps like CAIRO are enabled).

Calls and reliability

  • Fewer rejected calls under heavy load. Calls stay connected in more situations when the system is busy.
  • Emergency calls. Improved handling of location information on 911 calls.
