Objective

NavaGo offers a controlled enhanced integration between the VIP platform and Vinsolutions/CoxAuto CRM. Further in the documentation, we will discuss enabling your dealership for the Crexendo/Mondago integration, configuring the NavaGo client, and a few how-tos on how the integration works/responds.

Symptoms

  • VIP - MondaGo-NavaGo Integration/setup docs

Eligibility

This is a Controlled integration; VIPEngNoc/SD3 will need to request an Unlock code from Mandago to allow the integration setup. The code is usually active for 2 weeks to a month to allow for installation and setup.
Below are the specifics and details regarding this integration.

This integration requires a specific version of the NavaGo client until it reaches Mandago’s general release version.

  • Version 4.2.4.4019 (IntegratorIstaller-Feature-128-CrmV42-4.2.4.4019.exe)

Procedure

Enable VinSolutions-Crexendo Integration in Connect CRM

NOTE: The customer's VinSolutions admin will be able to perform these actions for the integration

  1. Log in to VinSolutions

  2. Go to Settings > Dealer Settings > Partner Enablement
  3. Scroll down to Call Tracking Providers and select Crexendo

  4. Tick Enable. A pop-up window will display. Make sure the items below are ticked, then hit Accept.

Installing and Configuring NavaGo Client for VinSolutions Integration

Your Implementation Manager can provide you with the NavaGo client installation file for your desktops. To learn more about the installation, refer to How To: Go Integrator Nava - Download and Install Client

NOTE: This is Mandago/NavaGo's version of Click to Dial

    • Audio tab:
      • If you will be using the softphone feature, set your default devices for Microphone, Speaker, and Ringer
      • Ensure only PCMU is checked

  5. Set preferred device

Integration Functions and Features

Address Book Search

Right-click on the NavaGo icon in your taskbar and choose the Address Book Search function

You will be presented with an Address Book search where you can type in a contact name or phone number, and the integration will search all your connections for matches (VIP, VinSolutions, etc.)

If you move over the contact with your mouse, you will see action buttons/icon’s for that user/contact.

If you select the Show Contact icon, it will pop up the contact card on the VinSolutions CRM page.

Caller Details Preview and Auto Screen Pop

To present this item, I will call my user's DID/number. As the call hits my user, NavaGo will automatically (based on our above settings) show a Call Preview window and Auto Screen Pop into Salesforce if a contact is matched.

Call Preview shows at the top of your screen and presents options to open Vinsolutions, contact, answer, etc., based on the type of call

Auto Screen Pop occurs if a number is matched to a contact in VinSolutions

Add Contact

If a contact is not matched within Salesforce, the user can use the Call Preview window to create a contact:

Click the Add contact icon

The NavaGo Add Contact window will appear and allow you to enter a contact on any connected integrations you have set up. In this example, we want to choose VinSolutions: Contact.

The user can click the Save and Show button to create the contact and open the contact page to enter any other pertinent information needed for the VinSolutions contact based on company policies.

Automatic Call Activity Logging

There are different ways to view the Call Activity within VinSolutions. The Call Activity may take a minute to populate in VinSolutions CRM after the call has ended.

NOTE: Be aware of the filters set on any reports/view's, including dates, numbers, etc.

  1. Perform an inbound call and/or an outbound call

    EXAMPLE: Inbound

    EXAMPLE: Outbound

  2. Find the Activity search and search for this contact.

EXAMPLE: In this scenario, we can use Crexendo

  3. Scroll down to the Notes & History, and you should be able to identify the Inbound and Outbound Calls as shown below:
